John Deere 4039DF001 diesel engine, naturally aspirated, mechanical fuel system, approx. 70 HP rating, removed from an air compressor in good running condition as pictured. Test ran clean, no smoke or blowby observed, engine holds 70+ lbs oil pressure & runs strong. Will interchange w/ 4039D and 4039DF engines and others.
